adidas - Face The Force

Case Study:

Whilst we were running the social media for adidas’ sponsorship of the All Blacks during the 2015 Rugby World Cup, we were asked to create a quick turn-around fan social activation around the Quarter Finals. As part of our RWC15 ‘Force Of Black’ campaign, we came up with the social extension ‘Face The Force.’ In 48hrs we developed a GoPro rig fitted to an adidas All Blacks RWC cap, that we sent out to super fans at watch parties in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. The idea was to capture the emotions of fans watching the Quarters with their friends. The content was quickly aggregated and turned into an edit within 48hrs, to keep the momentum up on the Facebook page between Quarters and Semis, but also to hero the fans and thank them for their engagement.
