Case Study:
A content series for Volkswagen Germany, as part of their #NoWomensFootball campaign around EURO2022. 4 docu-style episodes with 4 different protagonists. Working with the German agency C3 / Hooray, we did a talent search for people making significant moves in changing the perception of women in football, from grass roots up. We shortlisted talent and engaged them to be part of the campaign. We picked 4 talent and did 4 individual shoots, back to back, across multiple locations in the UK. With a modest budget for talent and locations, we had to be creative about where we shot them in order to provide enough overlay to portray their story. This meant an agile crew and portable gear so that we could travel quickly and cover multiple locations in one day. We cut the episode in the UK whilst we were still shooting, to turn it around within a week to be ready for the start of the EURO2022 tournament. The content formed a core part of a bigger sponsorship and advertising campaign that VW ran around the EUROs.
